Response to Renee Wynn. I know exactly what you mean when you describe your feelings about Robert's death. Strange that it can have that effect. Robert died of a heart attack in the Warwick Hotel in Paris.

5 years since Roberts passing, the music world is all the worse off without him.

RIP

--- Webmaster(guest)

I seem to have logged in to this by pure accident. I am not quite sure where I am,.I am an old Art College student who misses my Alma Mater . Robert Palmer seems to cover all that was best in innovative rock music and original interpretation. He presented a great individualist front , totally his own, which gave no quarter to the fashion of the day and importantly conceded nothing to the politically correct idiots who are busy destrtoying our society. He was, I think, first and forermost, a showman. A great voice who was not recognised in his time. We need great individualist artists if only to show the rest of us where we need to go. I listen to ' She makes My Day' on a dailyt basis and it does lift my heart and gives me joy. If this reaches any other Robert Palmer fans out there on the great World Wide internet, please drop me an e mail. I am beginning to think that I am the only Robert Palmer fan left.

Cheers

Tom Haines

t.haines@talktalk.net

I was excited to find the video of his live performance of True Love on The Martin Short show. I saw it when it originally aired and immediately fell in love with the song as I was falling for my soul mate and true love at the very same time. I cherish this song and Robert Palmer's undying talents that will live on forever in his legacy, his beautiful gift of music.

To Whom It may concern,

I've grown up in the Washington, DC area a baby boomer; have listened and seen Robert in concert several times. I have always admired his style and incredable focus on how to deliver good music with quality and love for the art.

I have worked several times to get him recognized/honored into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Can we please get this done?

This man, Robert Palmer was and always will be a great legend to rock and roll. Not too many people realize that, and never will. I will continue to search for an answer for this man to be recognized.

Thank you. My love to Robert and the joy he brings me in his music (and to his family).

Sincerely, Kimberly Hansen
