
LIVING IN FEAR 1996 (with the Power Station)
On October 12th 1996, the Power Station return with "She Can Rock It" hitting UK #63 for a week after an appearance on Top Of The Pops. The album "Living In Fear" follows but fails to chart in the UK. Critically well received (Q magazine in the UK has said that its production is "miles ahead" of the first album). It also contains a cover of Marvin Gayes "Lets Get It On". The album suffered as a result of the death of producer, Bernard Edwards, and the fact that John Taylor withdrew midway through the project. recorded in Milan, Palmer tells the UK Sunday Times that hes not concerned about how the album fairs commercially. The album will not be released until 1997 in the US under the Guardian label. It fails to chart in the US.
