Recorded in Milan, Italy, and featuring his long term partner, Mary Ambrose, on the cover as well as musically, "Honey" reaches UK #25 in its week of entry. It gains favourable critical reviews although commercial success will elude the record. Palmer describes it as his best work to date in a TV interview for Music Box in 1994. "You Blow Me Away" from the album will go on to reach UK #29. The album features Extremes Nuno on guitar.
