DON’T EXPLAIN 1990

On November 17th 1990, Palmer’s cover version of Bob Dylan’s "I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight" from his new album, hits UK #6. It’s a collaboration with UB40. The same day, that album, "Don’t Explain", hits UK #25. The 18 track set goes on to reach US #88 on December 22nd. The self produced and co-written "You’re Amazing" reaches US #28 on January 19th 1991. A medley update of Marvin Gaye’s "Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)" and "I Want You" hits UK #9 on January 26th as Palmer embarks on a UK tour. April 20th sees "Mercy Mercy Me/ I Want You" reach US #16. "Dreams To Remember" will be the final single from the album making UK #68 on June 15th 1991.
